On the afternoon of June 15th, RM shared a selfie with all BTS members (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) on his personal SNS, captioning it, “Don’t forget.“
In the photo, except for Jin, all the members currently serving in the military sport short hairstyles and are smiling brightly at the camera. Their fresh and youthful visuals remain strikingly similar to their pre-enlistment days.
Jin, the eldest member of BTS, was discharged from the military on June 12th. He is the first member of the group to complete his military service. RM, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook attended Jin’s discharge ceremony, except for Suga, who is serving as a social service agent.
With Jin’s discharge, there is significant interest in the group’s military service status. The next member to be discharged is J-Hope, with his discharge date set for October 17th. RM and V, who enlisted on December 11th last year, will be discharged on June 10th, 2025, while Jimin and Jungkook, who enlisted on December 12th last year, will be discharged on June 11th, 2025. Suga, who started his service as a social service agent last September, will complete his service on June 21st, 2025.
On June 13th, BTS held the “2024 FESTA” at the Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul. “FESTA” is an annual event celebrating BTS’s debut anniversary (June 13th) with fans. This year’s event included experience booths, photo zones and a fan event attended by Jin, bringing joy to many.
