BTS’s J-Hope’s Older Sister Revealed: Stunning Looks, Fluent English, Married

The second part of J-Hope’s L.A. daily life aired on the March 7 episode of MBC’s “I Live Alone“.
Last week, J-Hope captivated viewers with his undeniable charm, playfully shouting “What size? Half size!” and showing off his vibrant personality. His first appearance on the show was a huge success, earning him the No.1 spot on Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex for TV-OTT non-drama cast topicality for the fourth week of February. “I Live Alone” also saw an increase in ratings, maintaining its No.1 ranking in the 2049 (viewers aged 20~49) demographic across all genres for three consecutive weeks.

This week, J-Hope continued to unveil more of his hidden charms. As he searched for creative inspiration for his music, he also took time to relax in his own way. He prepared dinner using ingredients he bought at the market, declaring, “Today is my feast.” Without following a recipe, he effortlessly cooked up a flavorful L.A.-style steak and a rich, Korean-style kimchi stew, confidently stating, “Cooking is all about feeling.” His impressive culinary skills and enthusiastic energy surprised viewers.

The next morning, J-Hope started his day with a “morning apple” and unveiled his “military-style cereal recipe”. He explained “In the army, we mix everything together” as he dumped four different types of cereal into a giant bowl. He then topped it off with a fried egg for extra protein, turning his breakfast into an extended brunch session.
Adding to the excitement, J-Hope met his older sister, who shares his radiant smile. J-Hope introduced her, “This is my older sister.” His sister Jung Jiwoo is four years older than him.
He shared, “My sister and I have a close bond. When we were little, I used to tease her a lot and play pranks. But as I grew up, I started feeling like I wanted to take care of her.”
J-Hope’s sister impressed viewers by effortlessly ordering food in fluent English. When others expressed admiration, J-Hope explained, “She studied abroad when I was little.“
While catching up over their meal, J-Hope casually asked “How is your husband doing?“, revealing that his sister is married. She mentioned that she and her husband are considering having children, drawing further attention.
Meanwhile, J-Hope’s sister Jung Jiwoo is a well-known influencer with approximately 2.4 million subscribers. She got married on May 5, 2021. Born in January 1990, she is 35 years old and runs a fashion company.
