According to the music industry on July 2nd, Jin will depart for France to participate in the torch relay. The exact relay location and schedule have not yet been disclosed.
Jin’s participation in the torch relay is believed to be influenced by BTS’s global popularity and their 10-year-long message of “loving oneself”, which resonates beyond Korea and Asia.
Jin completed his military service on June 12th, becoming the first BTS member to do so. He has announced plans for active engagements in the latter half of this year. He will appear on MBC’s “Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island” to reconnect with viewers through entertainment and is also preparing new music.
