Byun Woo-seok Replies To Fan’s Promise To Shave Head, “You Don’t Need To Do It”

On May 19th, Byun Woo-seok spent time communicating with fans through the fan community platform Weverse. The actor directly commented on fans’ posts and his answers spread widely on social media and in online communities.

First, a fan said, “I can feel a wall when I send DMs to Byun Woo-seok. I don’t expect him to be perfect, but there really is a wall between me and Byun Woo-seok”. Byun Woo-seok explained, “So many DMs keep coming up… Yes… I’m not AIㅠ”.

Replying to a fan who said, “If Byun Woo-seok replies to me, I’ll shave my head”, Byun Woo-seok commented, “Proof shot, please”. 10 minutes later, he returned to this post and left another comment, saying “You don’t need to do it…”.

In addition, a fan asked Byun Woo-seok about his pet dog’s name, so he said, “It’s Byun Mochi!”. Meanwhile, tvN’s Mon-Tue drama “Lovely Runner”, starring Byun Woo-seok” is a time-slip drama about the romance between Im Sol (Kim Hye-yoon), a devoted fan, who goes back to 2008 to save her idol Ryu Sun-jae (Byun Woo-seok).

As the drama became popular, Byun Woo-seok also gained recognition after acting for a long time. According to Good Data Corporation, “Lovely Runner” has ranked No.1 among dramas for two consecutive weeks and Byun Woo-seok also topped the popularity chart for drama casts.
