On September 25, Offset had accused Cardi B during an Instagram live, “You cheated while you were pregnant. Tell the truth,” and Cardi B decided to address it directly.
During her live stream that day, Cardi B expressed her frustration, “I love my 3 children, but I regret the time I spent with their father (Offset),” targeting Offset with, “F*** you. I regret meeting you. I’ve always been too good for you.”
According to the UK Daily “The Independent”, Cardi B posted on X (formerly Twitter) on the 26th, simply writing, “AND DID !!!!!!” with no further explanation.
Cardi B had filed for divorce from Offset just before getting pregnant with their third child.
This isn’t the first time she’s filed for divorce. In 2020, Cardi B also filed for divorce from Offset but later withdrew it. This time, however, her intention to proceed seems firm. A representative for Cardi B stated, “She wants primary custody of the children.”
The reasons for the divorce include Offset’s infidelity and neglect of his family responsibilities. However, Cardi B explained that the main reason for her decision was the growing distance between them.
Even if she obtains primary custody, Cardi B has no plans to seek child support from Offset. In August, she clarified on Instagram, “Child support only applies to the expenses I’ve already incurred for the kids and the new child.”
