According to a report by News1 on April 27, Choi Siwon purchased a two-story house near Apgujeong Rodeo Street, Gangnam, for 1.1 billion KRW in September 2015.
He later demolished the original structure and built a three-story building, investing several billion KRW more. As of 2025, the property’s estimated market value stands at approximately 5.4 billion KRW.
With total acquisition and construction costs around 1.4 billion KRW, Choi Siwon has seen a remarkable 4 billion KRW profit over a decade.
Shin Min Ah
Shin Min Ah has also demonstrated sharp investment skills. In 2008, she bought an old two-story house on a 103-pyeong (approximately 340 square meters) plot in Yongsan District for 5.55 billion KRW.
After demolishing the structure and operating the land as a parking lot, the estimated value of the property has surged to about 15.525 billion KRW, based on recent transactions in the area. This translates into an impressive 10 billion KRW profit over 17 years.
Hyun Bin
Meanwhile, Hyun Bin has proven to be a real estate master. In September 2013, he bought a worn-down house on a 110-pyeong (around 364 square meters) plot in Cheongdam-dong for 4.8 billion KRW.
He demolished the property and built a new complex consisting of four underground and seven above-ground floors, with a total investment reaching about 8 billion KRW.
The current market value of the building is estimated at around 22 billion KRW, meaning Hyun Bin has potentially earned about 14 billion KRW in profit.
