Cha Eun-woo Passes Military Band Selection, Set to Enlist in Active Duty on July 28
According to an OSEN report on May 29, Cha Eun-woo was included in the list of successful candidates for the Army Military Band announced by the Military Manpower Administration that morning. As a result, his enlistment is confirmed for July 28.
News of Cha Eun-woo’s military band interview was reported on May 9. At the time, a representative from his agency, Fantagio, told OSEN, “Cha Eun-woo applied for the Army Military Band and attended the interview. We are still awaiting the results, as the announcement has not yet been made.”
The representative further explained, “He applied for the military band at the end of March. He went through the interview process, and we understand the results will be announced on May 29. If he passes, the exact enlistment date is not yet confirmed, but it is expected to be in July.”
Following the wait, Cha Eun-woo’s successful selection for the military band was confirmed, making him the second ASTRO member to enlist.
Meanwhile, Cha Eun-woo is currently busy filming the new Netflix series The WonderFools. He is also set to perform at ASTRO’s fourth solo concert, The 4th STARROAD [Stargraphy], on June 7 and 8 at Inspire Arena in Incheon.
