“Until now, I’ve been operating anonymously. I’ve been thinking a lot about whether I should continue that way. I thought maybe if I showed my face and expressions, I could connect more closely with viewers. But I’m also worried people might be disappointed.”

Greeting viewers warmly with “Hello, I’m Daengi’s dad. This is what I look like,” the YouTuber embraced the moment with humor. He referenced comparisons to beloved actor Jo Jung-suk, saying, “I do hear that a lot. If you look closely, I have a mole here,” before hilariously parodying a scene from Temptation of Wife.

He then joked, “But please don’t say I look like Jo Jung-suk. His fans will scold me!” eliciting laughter from fans tuning in.

Cheonggyesan Daeng-i Records initially drew attention by uploading music covers under the title “Jo Jung-suk AI Cover,” but consistently denied any affiliation with the actor. However, the truth came to light in Netflix’s variety series Rookie Singer Jo Jung-suk, where it was revealed that comedian Moon Sang-hoon played a marketing executive for the channel, and the AI cover concept was part of a promotional campaign.

The channel gained wider fame after IU shared a cover of her song Love Wins All performed by “AI Jo Jung-suk” on her social media story, drawing attention from fans and viewers across the internet.

Now, with the mystery unraveled and the man behind the viral music channel revealed, Cheonggyesan Daeng-i Records has entered a new chapter, one filled with more personal connection, humor, and music.
