On November 17, famous Chinese actress Tang Wei shared a photo on her social media with the caption, “Harvesting sweet potatoes with friends.”
The photo features her daughter deeply focused on harvesting sweet potatoes. Tang Wei added that the garden was behind her daughter’s school, further highlighting the tranquility of the moment.
Seeing the photo, netizens left warm responses such as, “Her daily life is like a fairy tale,” “There’s something so relatable and comforting about this,” and “Seeing Tang Wei as a mom is refreshing.”
Meanwhile, Tang Wei’s husband, director Kim Tae-yong attended the preview of the movie “Wonderland” (produced by Bom Film Productions) at Megabox COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on May 31st. He said, “What I felt while working with Tang Wei is that the energy she brings from other great films is different from before, which was fascinating.”
Kim Tae-yong and Tang Wei previously worked together on the 2011 film “Late Autumn”. Their collaboration on that project led to a romantic relationship, and they married in 2014, now having one child together.

Director Kim Tae-yong added, “Tang Wei is an actress who prepares and immerses herself so diligently that she remained in that state even at home. It was a unique experience where work and daily life were indistinguishable.”
Tang Wei also shared her thoughts on working again with her husband.
Tang Wei expressed her affection, “I appreciate the director’s patience and meticulousness. He always strives to find new possibilities and freshness.” She also humorously revealed that Director Kim Tae-yong’s weight had changed.

Tang Wei confessed, “I’m thankful for the support and encouragement from Korean audiences and filmmakers. I’ll continue to work hard.”
“Wonderland” is a story about reuniting with a departed family member or lover via video call, which stars Tang Wei, Suzy, Park Bo-gum, Jung Yu-mi and Choi Woo-sik.
