Ailee’s Husband Dragged Into Lesbian Dating Show Scandal, Riwon Responds to Rumors
Choi Sihoon, husband of singer Ailee, has unexpectedly become entangled in the controversy surrounding Wavve’s lesbian reality dating show “ToGetHer.”
On May 1, cast member Riwon publicly addressed rumors circulating online that Choi Sihoon was the CEO of her agency. The claims stemmed from a screenshot she had previously shared, in which she referred to someone as “my influencer agency CEO.” Many speculated the unnamed figure was Choi, especially amid the growing scandal involving her alleged inappropriate behavior toward fellow cast member Hangyul.
In particular, Riwon clarified via social media, “He is someone who has given me occasional professional advice, but he is not my agency CEO, nor does he represent me personally.”
She went on to explain, “I work with a separate, general agency and not the company associated with the individual in question. To avoid any further misunderstandings, I have decided to end my involvement with anything that may cause harm to that company or the person involved.”
Riwon also pleaded with the public to stop baseless speculation, stating, “Please refrain from spreading unfounded rumors and assumptions about people associated with me professionally.”
This comes in the wake of escalating backlash against Riwon, who has admitted to a controversial past as a broadcast BJ and recently faced allegations of inappropriate behavior toward castmates on the show. In an effort to refute the claims, she released message logs, one of which included the mention of a “CEO,” further fueling speculation.
Meanwhile, Choi Sihoon, who rose to fame through Netflix’s dating show “Single’s Inferno,” is currently pursuing business ventures and recently married Ailee on April 20. His name being dragged into a separate entertainment scandal has surprised many fans, prompting calls for caution in making assumptions.
