Daesung’s Solo Concert Lights Up Seoul with Surprise Appearances by G-Dragon and Taeyang

On April 26 and 27, Daesung held the “DAESUNG 2025 ASIA TOUR: D’s WAVE IN SEOUL” at the Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park, reconnecting with fans through a special and emotional event.
Opening the concert with “Universe,” the title track of his recently released first mini album, Daesung energized the crowd right from the start. He also performed “Last Girl” (featuring Han Yo-han) and “JUMP,” debuting new tracks live for the first time.
The setlist continued with emotionally rich songs like “Falling Slowly,” “Light,” “Try Smiling,” and “Baby Don’t Cry.” Additionally, Daesung showcased songs from his Japanese activities, such as “Utautai no Ballad,” “Rainy Rainy,” and “Dress,” highlighting his diverse musical range.

The appearance of special guests drew explosive reactions. On the first day, BIGBANG’s Taeyang joined the stage, while on the second day, both Taeyang and G-Dragon made surprise appearances. Together, they performed iconic BIGBANG hits like “HOME SWEET HOME,” “BANG BANG BANG,” and “Sober,” giving fans unforgettable memories of the group’s chemistry.

This concert marked Daesung’s first solo domestic performance, showcasing his matured musical abilities and exceptional stage presence. After concluding the concert, Daesung shared a handwritten letter expressing his gratitude:
“After a year filled with working on albums, performances, and broadcasts, holding my first solo concert domestically means so much to me. Watching Taeyang hyung’s concert here last year, I dreamed of this moment, and I am deeply grateful it became a reality.”
He added, “It hasn’t been easy to take on new challenges, but thanks to the support of my company and especially the love from fans, I was able to create this stage. I hope we continue building precious memories together.”
Following the Seoul concerts, Daesung will continue his D’s WAVE tour in cities including Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Hong Kong, Kobe, and Yokohama.
