DAWN(former member of boy group PENTAGON and mixed unit Triple H), has officially completed his military service, signaling a long-anticipated return to the K-pop scene. On July 11, his agency AT AREA confirmed that the singer wrapped up his alternative service as a social service agent, effectively ending his military hiatus.
With this new chapter, DAWN is expected to begin preparations for a full-fledged comeback, much to the excitement of fans who have patiently awaited his return. Known for his sensual songwriting and bold artistic identity, DAWN is widely recognized as a versatile singer-songwriter and performer.

Since launching his solo career in 2019 with the single “MONEY,” DAWN has showcased his creative depth through projects like his first mini-album “Dawndididawn,” his second mini-album “Narcissus,” and popular singles including “Stupid Cool” and “Dear My Light.” His unique blend of sound, fashion, and performance style quickly established him as a trendsetting solo artist in K-pop.
Aside from music releases, DAWN also made a mark on stage with powerful live performances, earning him the nickname “trustworthy performer.” His ability to connect with audiences through choreography, visuals, and raw emotion has been a hallmark of his solo career.

DAWN’s return comes after a very public breakup with fellow artist HyunA, with whom he had shared a high-profile relationship for years. The separation, while emotional for fans, has since become part of DAWN’s personal and artistic journey. Meanwhile, HyunA is now married to former Beast (also known as Highlight) member Yong Jun-hyung.
