
Despite the indefinite delay of the high-profile series Knock-Off, Disney+ Korea is forging ahead with a packed and ambitious content slate for the remainder of 2025.
Korean Content Leads Global Success on Disney+
Following a banner year in 2024, where 9 out of the top 15 most-watched non-U.S. Disney+ originals globally were Korean productions, the platform is continuing its momentum.
Notably, A Shop for Killers emerged as the most viewed Korean title on Disney+ last year, lauded for its unique world-building and stylish action. The success led to a confirmed Season 2, joining Moving in returning with new installments.

Upcoming Must-Watch: Disney+ Korea’s 2025 Lineup Unveiled
This year, the streamer has already gained buzz with titles like Trigger (starring Kim Hye-soo and Jung Sung-il) and Hyper Knife (starring Park Eun-bin and Seol Kyung-gu). And the momentum is just beginning.

- May 21: Nine Puzzle starring Kim Da-mi and Son Seok-koo – a gripping crime thriller about a detective and a witness confronting a cold case tied to a string of new murders.
- Fine: Country Bumpkins – Directed by The Outlaws ’ Kang Yoon-sung and based on a webtoon by _Misaeng_’s Yoon Tae-ho, starring Ryu Seung-ryong, Yang Se-jong, and Im Soo-jung.
- Polaris (북극성) – Featuring Kang Dong-won, Jeon Ji-hyun, and John Cho, with writing and directing talents from Decision to Leave, Queen of Tears, and The Outlaws 4.
- The Murky Stream (탁류) – A historical drama starring Rowoon and Shin Ye-eun.
- The Manipulated (조각도시) – A crime-action series featuring Ji Chang-wook and Do Kyung-soo.
- Made in Korea – Directed by Inside Men’s Woo Min-ho and starring Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung.
While Knock-Off, originally slated for release this year, has been temporarily removed from the lineup following controversy surrounding lead actor Kim Soo-hyun, Disney+ has clarified this does not affect the broader rollout of content.

Disney+ is set to showcase not only original series but also a wide range of well-made new Korean productions:
- A Normal Family: Starring Sol Kyung-gu, Kim Hee-ae, and Jang Dong-gun.
- Secret: Untold Melody: Starring Do Kyung-soo.
- Would You Marry Me: A rom-com featuring Choi Woo-shik and Jung So-min.
- The Good Man: A heartfelt family drama with Lee Dong-wook and Lee Sung-kyung.
- 24-Hour Health Club: A quirky slice-of-life story starring Lee Jun-young and Jung Eun-ji.
- Our Movie: A melodrama with Namgoong Min and Jeon Yeo-bin.
