DKB’s Profile – All-rounder Boy Group that Shine with Their Own Sound (2025 Updated)

DKB’s About
The group name of DKB is short for “Dark Brown Eyes”, while their fandom name, BB, is short for DKB’s Bestie. Yuku is the only non-Korean member in the group.
The group’s official greeting is “Two, three! Move the Crowd! Hello, this is DKB!”

Launched under Brave Entertainment after Brave Girls (now BB Girls) and Big Star, DKB mainly focus on hip-hop-based performances, and the members also write lyrics and compose music, create choreography, do acrobatics, DJ, and play instruments. Anticipation for DKB started in September 2019, when Brave Entertainment launched a teaser Twitter account. With promotional videos like “Move the Crowd” and “Keep Your Head Up,” fans were introduced to the group through a series of film clips, behind-the-scenes images, and studio practice footage. This strategic rollout sparked interest ahead of their formal debut.
Post Debut
On February 3, 2020, DKB officially debuted with the mini album “Youth” and the title track “Sorry Mama.” The group continued momentum with their 2nd mini album “Love” in May, and introduced their official fandom name, BB. They made their Japanese debut in July with a localized version of “Youth”. Their third mini album “Growth” followed in October, showcasing the group’s maturing style.

DKB released their first full-length album, “The Dice is Cast”, in March 2021, further cementing their sound. Their participation in the 2021 Dream Concert highlighted their growing popularity. Later that year, they dropped their first single album “Rollercoaster” in October.
In 2022, DKB unveiled their fourth and fifth mini albums: “Rebel” in April and “Autumn” in August. Both showcased their versatile performance skills and emotional range, appealing to both domestic and global fans.
“Peak Time” Appearance & Restructure
DKB made headlines in 2023 as a contestant on JTBC’s “Peak Time”, where they ultimately placed fourth. They also made a Japanese comeback released their sixth mini album “I Need Love” in June. Its repackage, “We Love You”, came in August. Notably, they contributed the digital single “The Wave” for Korea’s National Sports Festival.
Following Teo’s departure, the group reorganized as eight members and released their seventh mini album “Hip” on November 30.
