‘Eldest of 13 siblings’ Nam Bora welcomes a new family member “Adopted in September of the year before last”
A video featuring actress Nam Bora was recently uploaded on the YouTube channel “Green Talk”.
Nam Bora has long been dedicated to various social contribution activities.
Reflecting on her upbringing as the eldest of 13 siblings, she shared, “We didn’t grow up in a wealthy environment. In our household, tofu in soybean paste stew was a luxury, and since I always gave it up for my younger siblings, I eventually stopped eating it altogether.”
She continued, “Sharing with my siblings is ingrained in my DNA. I think that’s why I find fulfillment in volunteering as an adult. Now that my siblings have grown up and no longer need my care, I still carry that instinct with me in society.”
Nam Bora also shared the story of how she became a family with her pet dog, Meoteori. She explained, “There was a news report about a dog breeding area incident where over a thousand dogs were rescued.”
She then revealed, “I adopted Meoteori in September of the year before last, and the other dogs here also came from the same place.” Her heartfelt story moved many viewers.
Meanwhile, Nam Bora, the eldest of eight brothers and five sisters, first gained recognition through MBC’s “Sunday Sunday Night – Chorus of Angels” in 2005.
