Controversies

Back in January 2023, Jay came under fire for making controversial statements about Korean history. In particular, during a live broadcast, the male idol mentioned that he likes studying history, but “there are not many events and things to learn about Korean history”, even comparing Korean history to a “short story”.

As a result, the male idol published an apology shortly after his statement but the public’s outrage did not subside.
