ENHYPEN Sunoo, whose full name is Kim Sun-woo, was born in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. He was introduced as a contestant in the survival show “I-LAND” and ranked 8th in the final episode with 935,771 votes, but was selected by the producers to be a member of ENHYPEN.

Trivia
Sunoo has an older sister, and so is known to have aegyo. In fact, he is known to have a good relationship with his sister, even drawing attention with a video message addressed to her.
He is good at facial expressions, with his eye smiles and flexible expressions being his major charms.
During middle school, Sunoo drew a lot of attention for his visuals, to the point of being referred to as “Sam-oh-oppa” (Year 3, Class 5 handsome oppa). He was also a student council member and class president during this time.
Before joining “I-LAND”, Sunoo trained for 10 months. Originally, he thought fellow ENHYPEN member Heeseung didn’t like him during the show, but it turned out to be just a misunderstanding.
Sunoo can play the piano and enjoys taking selfies, listening to music, playing games and watching movies.

Controversies
Controversial expression during “I-LAND”
During the 1st episode of“I-LAND”, Sunoo drew controversies for giving a fellow competitor a “side eye”, leading to negative responses from netizens. However, according to Seon – the fellow competitor himself, Sunoo never did anything like that, and was only a victim of “evil editing”.
Poor treatment from staff
Back in July 2024, while appearing at the airport to depart for the 2024 KCON LA, Sunoo was staggering behind his members due to the crowd of fans. Amid this, a staff member suddenly grabbed Sunoo’s arm aggressively and pulled him forward, startling the male idol.
