The June 7th broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “The Seasons: Zico’s Artist” showed EXO’s Suho appearing as a guest and sharing various stories about his first solo concert that recently ended successfully.

On the broadcast, Zico said, “I heard there was a song that gives comfort to the audience at the concert”. In response, Suho said, “There’s a song called ‘For You Now’”.

He continued, “I wrote the lyrics of this song while thinking about a friend. We were very close during our trainee days and we relied on each other a lot. We also gave supportive messages to each other all the time. Listening to this friend’s music comforted me a lot during my hard time”.

In addition, Suho shared, “I always think that I owed him a lot. I think it’s my turn to comfort him and wrote the lyrics with all my heart”, disclosing a behind story.

Upon hearing that, Zico continued asking, “Did you work on the song thinking about that friend only?”, and Suho nodded.

As Suho seemed to get emotional, Zico sincerely confessed, “I’m sure the owner of this song (that friend) will also smile after listening to the song. We all hope that Suho’s heart will reach him.” After performing “For You Now”, Suho expressed his feelings, saying “I hope that friend accepts my heart and I want to sing about the affection I got from him. I will become an artist who comforts you guys with good music and acting.”

Meanwhile, the lyrics of “For You Now”, which Suho participated in writing, are known to be about the late singer SHINee’s Jonghyun.
