Actor Song Jae-rim’s sudden passing has left fans and former colleagues in shock.
As a result, his former on-screen wife from the show We Got Married, actress Kim So-eun, has seen her social media filled with messages of grief and concern from fans.
Song Jae-rim, aged 39, was found deceased on the afternoon of November 12. His time on “We Got Married” with Kim So-eun in 2014 brought warmth and joy to many viewers, as they portrayed a sweet, fictional married life on the show.

Following the news, fans have flooded Kim So-eun’s social media with comments such as “Unnie… Jae-rim oppa…” and “Are you okay, unnie?”, expressing sorrow and asking after her well-being.
Now, on the day of Song Jae-rim’s funeral, Kim So-eun has addressed the actor’s passing via her recent SNS update.
In particular, Kim So-eun published a selfie of her and Song Jae-rim along with the caption, “No words on earth can describe the sorrow. I hope he is not lonely in his long journey. Goodbye…my friend… See you again.”
“I’ve sent him off well. Don’t worry about me”, the actress also added, likely in response to the concerned comments on her SNS.

Song Jae-rim had a notable career, appearing in films like The Snob and Decoy and in dramas such as The Moon Embracing the Sun, Flower Boy Ramen Shop, Inspiring Generation, Goodbye Mr. Black, Clean with Passion for Now, Cafe Minamdang, and Queen Woo, the latter being a TVING series where he reconnected with audiences this year.
From July to October, Song Jae-rim performed actively in the musical The Rose of Versailles, playing the role of Florian Victor Clément de Girodel. His passing is all the more heartbreaking given his recent active career.
