The video has since garnered significant attention, as Nayeon and J-Hope freely interacted despite recent dating rumors involving the two. Many netizens even speculate that this was their “cool response” to the rumors, prompting comments such as, “nayeon and jhope in one video together after the conspiracy theories circulating, ITS POETIC” and “jhope and nayeon doing the challenge in the midst of their rumor dating news?! Meanwhile, a netizen previously gathered more than 400 thousand views on TikTok after making a compilation of evidence proving that BTS’s J-Hope and TWICE’s Nayeon are in a romantic relationship.
Some K-pop fans like pairing idols just because they think the idols’ visuals match each other well or merely based on a few interactions and encounters between them. Many unexpected couples have been created by fans in such ways, including BTS’s J-Hope and TWICE’s Nayeon.
The TikTok user listed evidence proving that the two visited similar places or were somewhere at the same time. In particular, they tried to create a dating rumor by pointing out that J-Hope and Nayeon went to the same restaurant for an event.
In addition, there was also evidence showing J-Hope and Nayeon taking photos at the same place despite the fact that J-Hope took it on April 2nd, 2023 while Nayeon’s picture was taken on October 13th, 2023.
Most recently, photos of Nayeon and J-Hope taking selfies with the same pose of looking up a glass ceiling in different places were also put together as dating proofs.
In response to this viral TikTok video, some netizens also believe that there is a possibility that J-Hope and Nayeon can end up being a couple since both are modeling and working with the luxury brand Louis Vuitton. It seems like the “couple” is receiving much support from fans.
