FIFTY FIFTY’s Keena has temporarily suspended her promotional activities for the group’s latest release. While it was initially announced as due to health reasons, the exact cause lies in her trauma associated with Ahn Sung Il.

FIFTY FIFTY made their comeback on April 29 with their third mini-album “Day & Night”. This album held special meaning for Keena. As the eldest member, she took the lead in preparing the album alongside her groupmates. But on April 15, following a cross-examination with Ahn Sung Il, everything began to fall apart.

On August 26 last year, Keena filed a complaint against Ahn Sung Il for forgery and use of forged private documents. He is accused of forging her signature without consent and allocating her only 0.5% of the copyright share for the hit song “Cupid”.

The Gangnam Police Station held a cross-examination during their investigation of Ahn Sung Il (at Keena’s request). With her lawyer present, Keena confronted Ahn for two hours, questioning the legitimacy of his claims.

However, facing Ahn Sung Il directly proved to be too much. Following the session, Keena experienced a mental breakdown. She began to suffer from vomiting, auditory hallucinations, insomnia and anorexia. She informed her agency of her condition and ultimately decided to halt all activities.
