Shin Hye-sun expressed her thoughts on her character during the press conference after the press preview of the movie “Following” (directed by Kim Se-hwi) held at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on April 29th.
In the film, Shin Hye-sun takes on the role of “Han So-ra”, who lives the life of an SNS influencer through fake postings. Regarding this, Shin Hye-sun said, “I didn’t want to empathize with or understand ‘Han So-ra’. I didn’t have the experience of being emotionally assimilated with the character.”
She added, “I thought about how I could look despicable with my face and feelings.”
Meanwhile, “Following”, set to be released on May 15th, is a mystery thriller that unfolds as real estate agent Goo Jung-tae, who enjoys peeping, witnesses the death of SNS influencer Han So-ra, whom he has been observing, then delves into her surroundings to clear the murderer’s name.
