Former Gold Medalist Employee Refutes Claim That Kim Sae Ron Worked Unpaid “Completely False”

On March 22, a former Gold Medalist employee, identified as “A”, took to their personal account to refute Kim Sae Ron’s allegations, stating, “I was responsible for the visual directing of all trainees, rookies and actors at Gold Medalist. I handled the company branding and visual directing from the very beginning when Gold Medalist didn’t even have a logo. Even the profile photo of Kim Sae Ron currently on Naver was directed by me.”

A continued, “I am writing this because all the work I did at Gold Medalist over five years is being completely denied. The claim that Kim Sae Ron, as an early member of the company, took on visual directing and worked without pay is entirely untrue.”
A also revealed their background, gaining considerable attention. According to A, they planned the mapping videos for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics’ opening and closing ceremonies and worked at Gold Medalist from November 2019 to December last year.

Previously, Kim Sae Ron’s family claimed through the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute that after signing with Gold Medalist, she was involved in rookie casting and visual directing without proper compensation.
Meanwhile, Kim Sae Ron’s family is scheduled to hold a press conference at 1:30 PM KST on March 27 in Seocho-gu, Seoul. At the conference, they are expected to present evidence to support claims that Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun were romantically involved while she was still a minor.
