Singer G-Dragon is set to be appointed as a special professor at KAIST
According to an OSEN report on the 5th, G-Dragon will receive his appointment certificate after participating in the ‘Innovate Korea 2024’ talk show, held at the Ryu Geun-chul Sports Complex at the KAIST main campus in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.
‘Innovate Korea 2024’ is an event organized by KAIST, the National Research Council of Science & Technology (NST), and Herald Media Group. During the event, G-Dragon will join KAIST President Lee Kwang-hyung and Galaxy Corporation’s Chief Happiness Officer (CHO) Choi Yong-ho in a talk show.
G-Dragon is expected to discuss the future of K-pop by integrating AI technology with K-content during the talk show, and there is anticipation that he might also reveal details about his upcoming comeback and new album scheduled for later this year.
Since signing with Galaxy Corporation in December last year, G-Dragon has shown a keen interest in AI-related technology. He even attended the world’s largest electronics and IT exhibition, ‘CES 2024,’ in Las Vegas this past January.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon is preparing for a comeback with a new album, aiming for a release in the second half of this year. This will be his first solo album in about seven years since his last release in 2017.
