When you think of those born in 1988, singer G-Dragon is a representative star that comes to mind.
On October 22, 2024 the “King of K-pop” confirmed his attendance at the MAMA Awards after 9 years. This news quickly went viral on social media. This is a rare occasion for the leader of Bigbang to participate in the awards ceremony since his discharge from the military in 2019.

In addition, G-Dragon’s new album is currently in progress. Initially, his new music release was expected to debut in October. However, the idol unexpectedly postponed his comeback schedule and set a new goal to return in November this year.
Taeyang, What Song Will He Present This Year?
In January last year, Taeyang collaborated with BTS’s Jimin on the song “VIBE (feat. Jimin of BTS)”.

Taeyang also hold his solo concert for 2024, titled THE LIGHT YEAR. The concert took place over two days, on August 31 and September 1, at Olympic Park in Seoul. THE LIGHT YEAR is also be Taeyang’s first solo concert in 7 years.

2024 has not been a happy year for Jessi. The controversy surrounding an incident where a fan was assaulted while trying to take a photo with Jessi has yet to be resolved. The singer later appeared at the police station to cooperate in the investigation of the perpetrator who attacked her fan.
Additionally, she has left her management company. In a statement to the media outlet Tenasia, DOD Entertainment confirmed that Jessi officially departed from the company one month after signing a management contract. DOD Entertainment stated that Jessi’s departure was at her request.

Max Changmin, Anticipated Future Activities
TVXQ’s Max Changmin, who celebrated his 20th debut anniversary last year, is also part of the 1988-born group.

Despite getting married in 2020, Max Changmin continues to showcase powerful energy on stage.
