Has the arrested hostess bar female director ever met G-Dragon?
On November 13th, Yonhap NewsTV released an exclusive interview with G-Dragon. In the video, G-Dragon denied all drug allegations and clearly stated his position.
When asked if he had administered drugs, G-Dragon firmly denied it, saying “No, I never did that”. He voluntarily attended the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s Drug Crime Investigation Team on the 6th and claimed his innocence. After that, the police requested a detailed examination of G-Dragon’s hair and nails from the National Forensic Service.
As for his prediction of the drug test results, G-Dragon replied, “Of course, it should be negative. To say it once again, I’ve never taken drugs or made any drug transactions, so it would be so weird if drug ingredients are detected on my body”. Regarding his voluntary attendance of the police summons, which is an unusual case, he said, “I know myself the best. Since I did not take drugs, I voluntarily went there to prove my innocence as soon as possible”.
Regarding reports about the doctor who is suspected of being a drug supplier, G-Dragon said, “I have nothing to say. I don’t know that doctor and I’ve never received anything from him. I really want to know who he is.”
The reporter mentioned the hostess bar female director’s claim of discovering a piece of paper in the bathroom of the bar that G-Dragon visited in December last year. In response, G-Dragon said, “There’s no way for me to explain this, but I think the behavior of that director seems strange. From the media and articles, I don’t know who she is, who the female director is, and whether her claim about my action is accurate. As far as I know, that person has a drug-related history and I have many doubts about the credibility of her statement.”
G-Dragon once again emphasized that he doesn’t know the doctor and the hostess bar director. If what he said is true, it is questionable why the director specified G-Dragon to the police and even described his visit in December last year in detail.
The female director previously mentioned Lee Sun-kyun and G-Dragon as “celebrities who took drugs” during a police investigation. Since she has a drug use history, it is possible that she mentioned suspecting celebrities to ask for leniency in her drug case. As for now, both Lee Sun-kyun and G-Dragon have received negative results in simple drug tests, and Lee Sun-kyun even tested negative in the detailed examination by the National Forensic Service. It is true that Lee Sun-kyun has not taken drugs for the past 8-10 months at least.
However, it is still unknow whether G-Dragon and Lee Sun-kyun are innocent. Attention is focused on G-Dragon’s official stance complaining of unfairness and his firm attitude in the interview. It is clear that either the hostess bar director or G-Dragon is lying.
