Singer G-Dragon tested negative in the simple drug test during his first voluntary police investigation
At 1:20 p.m. (KST) on November 6th, G-Dragon showed up at Incheon Nohyeon Police Station, where the office of Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s Drug Crime Investigation Team is temporarily located.
He entered the police station after answering various questions from reporters with a confident and relaxed appearance in front of the photo line. The male singer left the Nohyeon Police Station at 5:19 p.m., after about 3 hours and 50 minutes.
In particular, G-Dragon’s simple drug test came out with a negative result. He said, “I already requested an urgent thorough examination. From now on, I would appreciate it if they give out the results accurately and quickly”. During the first summon, the police conducted a simple drug test to check whether G-Dragon took drugs or not then collected urine and hair for a thorough examination from the National Forensic Service.
Regarding the voluntary submission of his mobile phone, G-Dragon said, “I didn’t submit it. Later, if they request it for future investigation, I will do it right away.” He continued, “I actively cooperated with the investigation by providing necessary statements and hair samples.”
Regarding his position of denying all drug allegations, G-Dragon confidently said, “It remains unchanged”.
Meanwhile, a total of 10 people, including G-Dragon and actor Lee Sun-kyun, are under police investigation on drug charges.
