On June 17th, fashion magazine ELLE released new pictorials of G-Dragon, who decorated the cover of its July issue.

In the photoshoot, G-Dragon stood in front of the camera wearing clothes from global luxury brand C’s 2023/24 Workshop Collection. The male idol exuded his stylish visual, once again proving his power as a fashion icon.

In the interview following the photo shoot, G-Dragon talked about his unexpected appearance as a special professor at KAIST’s Department of Mechanical Engineering. He said, “It was a very new challenge for me. I was very bewildered and excited to visit the campus for the first time”.

He continued, “KAIST is a place full of passionate people in their fields. Seeing the students so immersed in the talk that the line between academics and daily life becomes blurred reminded me of myself when I was younger and when I used to wander and explore things alone in the practice room”.

Also, when asked about his daily interests, G-Dragon, who is active in many fields, shared, “I tend to be curious about diverse things rather than a specific field. As a creator and as a human, I have a desire to challenge something a little more unfamiliar rather than old ones. If the field is not my area of expertise, I would be very happy to borrow someone else’s expertise. That’s how we can produce results with higher qualities”.

Regarding the reason for his long-term partnership with luxury brand C, G-Dragon said, “I guess it’s because we don’t consider this relationship as work. Like how I’ve been active until now because I don’t consider doing music a job, my relationship with brand C also lasts long because it’s a close friendship, isn’t it? Things work out when you are sincere”, drawing admiration with his belief.
