During a production meeting, the team deliberated on selecting a female lead for a key scene, with the director explaining, “For this bridge section… it’s like a mysterious girl among here, without her face shown… and then you vibe with this girl.” While they recognized the importance of the role, they had yet to settle on a final choice.
Initially unsure, G-Dragon then made a decisive call, stating, “In my opinion, it’s Karina.” This confirmed that the idea of casting the aespa member was entirely his own.
The video also captured G-Dragon and Karina’s first encounter on set, where they instantly displayed strong dance chemistry. G-Dragon personally guided Karina through different poses, demonstrating movements and offering advice. “It’s okay to try a variety of poses,“ he suggested, as Karina flawlessly executed his direction, adding to the overall impact of the music video.
