On the afternoon of June 5, a special video featuring G-Dragon as a guest was released on the YouTube channel “117”, through the popular web variety show Sana’s Fridge Interview. The episode, titled Dex and Sana’s Fridge Interview, features Dex and TWICE’s Sana as co-hosts.
During the fun and candid segment, Dex and Sana set out to uncover G-Dragon’s ideal type. The BIGBANG leader explained, “I’m drawn to someone who gives off a certain vibe when I see them.” He added that he doesn’t prioritize height but instead appreciates elegant posture and graceful lines. Notably, G-Dragon mentioned his preference for individuals with “cat-like features,” and emphasized that mutual vibe compatibility is what truly matters to him.
When asked about his dream wedding, G-Dragon surprised everyone by saying, “Perhaps because of my profession, I think about it like staging a performance.” He confessed he’s long imagined an underwater wedding and humorously mimicked a scene where he enters as a mermaid wearing an oxygen tank, leaving the set in laughter.
Before the episode aired, dating rumors between G-Dragon and Sana reignited, sparked by the teaser’s title and G-Dragon’s rare TV appearance. G-Dragon’s agency quickly issued a statement denying any romantic involvement. According to the agency, G-Dragon joined the show due to his friendship with Dex, while Sana’s appearance was confirmed just a day before filming. However, fans—especially TWICE’s fandom ONCE—criticized the agency for issuing a denial when no major rumor had been circulating prior. Many felt the response unnecessarily amplified speculation and even altered facts, considering Sana’s Fridge Interview is known to be Sana’s show.
Fans also pointed to a previous incident that added to the rumors: G-Dragon had shared a social media post from a Coldplay concert, tagging only Sana before quickly deleting it.
Despite the controversy, both stars remain focused on their careers. Sana is currently preparing for TWICE’s comeback with their new album This Is For, set for release on July 11, 2025. Meanwhile, G-Dragon is actively promoting his highly anticipated solo album Ubermensch and preparing for his upcoming concert tour.
