On June 13, G-Dragon appeared at the “PEACEMINUSONE Premium Highball Launch Party – The Signal” event held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Yongsan, Seoul about 40 minutes later than the originally scheduled time of 7:00 PM. He arrived around 7:40 PM.
That day, G-Dragon made his entrance in a Tesla Cybertruck. His agency explained, “Due to rush hour and rain, the traffic congestion was severe. The arrival was inevitably delayed.”
The area near the hotel venue was heavily congested, and some hotel guests reportedly complained about the inconvenience.

This tardiness drew even more attention as it overlaps with G-Dragon’s recent behavior. Back in March, the first day of his solo concert “Übermensch in Korea” at Goyang Stadium also began over an hour late.
Online reactions included comments like, “Is being late part of his style now?” and “Not a good look on the day of his donation…”
Meanwhile, prior to the event, G-Dragon donated 880 million KRW for the treatment of youth alcohol addiction, drawing public praise.
This combination of high-profile generosity and recurring tardiness paints a complex public image for the global K-pop icon, once again putting G-Dragon in the spotlight—for better or worse.
