(G)I-DLE’s Soyeon Plans to Get Double Eyelid Surgery, Considering It for 4 Years

On December 18, (G)I-DLE’s Soyeon appeared on the YouTube channel “YONGTAROT” to consult comedian Lee Yong-jin for a tarot reading.  

Here, Soyeon’s first question was “When should I get double eyelid surgery?”, to which Yong-jin asked why the female idol felt the surgery was necessary.  

In response, Soyeon candidly explained that she has been using double eyelid tape, but as she ages, her eyelids are sagging slightly. 

“So people kept saying, ‘If you keep this up, you’ll need to do it later’,” she elaborated, adding, “I should just get double eyelid surgery done quickly, but I’m too scared to go through with it.”

In the end, Yong-jin suggested checking if next year would be a good time for the procedure and proceeded with the tarot reading. 

He then concluded, “Double eyelid surgery would really help you. Get it done next year. I think next year is good.”

The comedian also added that Soyeon should get the surgery done in early 2025, stating, “After all the busy stuff ends, if you do it early next year, it’ll be a turning point for you.”

Surprised, Soyeon responded enthusiastically, “Really? That’s amazing. I was actually thinking about doing it early next year.”

Then, when asked if she had thought about the double eyelid surgery a lot, Soyeon confessed that she has been considering it for four years.
