Go Ara, “Is there really a situation where someone wouldn’t want to date me?”
On the February 2 broadcast of “My Little Old Boy,” Go Ara appeared as a special MC. Host Shin Dong-yup introduced her by saying, “She has never been upset about her appearance since childhood.”
Go Ara shared, “My mom told me that when she took me out as a baby, people would always turn to look. She said not a single person simply passed by (without looking).”
She also reminisced about her popularity during her school days. She went to an all-girls high school, and students, both her seniors and juniors, would crowd around so much that windows even broke. “After that, my classmates would move as a group to protect me,” she recalled with a laugh. “I was incredibly popular in high school. How could that even happen at an all-girls school?”
Go Ara then opened up about her dating style. “If I was certain about my feelings, I go straight for it,” she said confidently.
Shin Dong-yup playfully asked, “But what if you get rejected? Wouldn’t that hurt?”
Without hesitation, Go Ara responded, “Is there really a situation where someone wouldn’t want to date me?” showing her trademark confidence.
