Go Min-si Suddenly Cancels Scheduled Public Appearance Amid School Bullying Allegations

Originally slated to attend a brand event in Seoul on May 29, Go Min Si‘s attendance was officially called off on May 28, just one day before the appearance. Her agency, Mystic Story, issued a statement to Ilgan Sports, saying:
“The decision to cancel is not due to the current controversy, but rather to avoid causing any disruption to the event. We were concerned that her presence might shift the focus or intent of the event, so we discussed it with the organizers and decided she would not attend.”

Below the article, netizens left sharp comments, such as:
- It’s obviously because she has something to be ashamed of, what do you mean LOL
- Her face really says it all
The statement comes amid growing online speculation after a post titled “We Are Victims of School Violence by Actress Go OO” went viral in online communities. The anonymous author claimed to be a former middle school classmate, accusing Go Min-si of bullying, extortion, and verbal abuse toward peers.

In response, Mystic Story released a strong denial on May 26 and also revealed that they have appointed legal representation and are reviewing both civil and criminal legal action against those responsible for the allegations.
Despite the controversy, Go Min-si continues to be active professionally. She is currently starring in the ENA drama Tastefully Yours and has several high-profile projects in the pipeline, including Netflix’s Perfect Job, and the film The World of Love.
