Go Min-si’s Old Interview Resurfaces Amid Bullying Allegations: “I’ll Never Be That Kind of Person”

Actress Go Min-si has recently come under scrutiny following allegations of school violence, drawing renewed attention to her past comments about the education system and favoritism within the entertainment industry.
In August last year, a video titled “Forever waiting for the spaghetti with Go Min-si” was uploaded on the Youtube channel BDNS. During the interview, host Moon Sang-hoon asked Go Min-si about her experiences and perspectives.

When asked about the “worst type” of adults she has encountered, Go Min-si candidly replied, “Those who view others through a biased lens.”
Having graduated from a vocational high school specializing in cosmetology, Go Min-si shared her challenges breaking into acting. “When I first moved to Seoul to pursue acting, I attended numerous auditions. Since I wasn’t a theater and film major, many directors asked me why I wanted to act. Most of the actors who entered alongside me had formal training in theater and film,” she explained.

“Within that environment, there was clear favoritism based on school connections and regional ties. I couldn’t understand it at all,” she added. “I resolved to never become like that. I firmly decided, ‘I will never be that kind of person.'”
On May 26, an online post surfaced accusing a certain actress, referred to only as “Go XX,” of multiple school violence incidents during her middle school years, including bullying, extortion, verbal abuse, and harassment of students with disabilities. Netizens soon identified the accused as Go Min-si. In response, Go Min-si’s agency stated, “We have confirmed the matter with the actress and stand by her.”

Later, the agency issued a second statement expressing deep concern over the spread of malicious, false information damaging Go Min-si’s reputation. “We have appointed legal counsel and have begun reviewing and pursuing civil and criminal legal actions,” they affirmed.
The situation remains under close public and legal scrutiny as the actress and her representatives continue to address the allegations.
