Goo Hye-sun Calmly Responds to Mention of Ex-husband Ahn Jae-hyun: “I Prefer Comfort Over Excitement”
On October 10th, Goo Hye-sun appeared on KBS2’s “Park Won-sook’s Live Together,” where she visited the “Saseonga” house in Yeongdeok, North Gyeongsang Province.
As soon as Goo Hye-sun arrived, hosts Park Won-sook and Hye Eun-yi showered her with full of praise, saying, “She’s so beautiful, like a character from a comic book.” In response to their enthusiastic welcome, Goo Hye-sun gave them gifts of aronia juice, made from her father’s farm, and keyrings she crafted herself.
Park Won-sook, reflecting on Goo Hye-sun’s life, indirectly referenced her divorce from Ahn Jae-hyun, saying, “You’re so beautiful, but you’ve been through tough times. You were living sweetly, and then things turned out like that.”
Goo Hye-sun simply smiled in response. Hye Eun-yil comforted her by adding, “There isn’t just one path in life. It’s great that I can do what I love.”
Park Won-sook continued, “As a mother, I would love to see you happily married and living a sweet life. But it’s admirable that you’ve followed your passions and achieved success through your studies.”
Later, Goo Hye-sun shared her thoughts on relationships, explaining, “I like someone who feels like family. When I’m around someone who makes me excited or nervous, I can’t be myself. I prefer someone who makes me feel comfortable. For me, the concept of a romantic partner overlaps with that of family.”
Meanwhile, Goo Hye-sun married Ahn Jae-hyun in 2016, but the couple divorced in 2020.
