On March 14, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency issued an official statement, where they denied allegations of grooming. In particular, the agency admitted that Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron dated, but only rom the summer of 2019 to the fall of 2020, after the late actress became an adult. They also revealed the full timeline of photos that feature Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun in intimate pose, claiming that none of them were taken in 2016.
Additionally, the agency revealed that Kim Soo Hyun is showing signs of rapid psychological instability following the allegations, adding, “Kim Soo-hyun showed signs of rapid psychological instability early this morning, and our company have taken measures to ensure that Kim Soo Hyun is taking absolute rest“, adding, “He has been experiencing extreme confusion due to claims that he was the cause of the deceased’s sudden death“.
Meanwhile, previously on March 13, another person close with Kim Soo Hyun expressed that the actor is “having a really hard time” and is “so out of it that the staff is always right next to him”. Additionally, it is said that Kim Soo Hyun visited all of his co-workers and staff to apologize during the filming of “Knock-Off” on the 12th.
Filming for “Good Day” Despite Controversy
On March 13, Ten Asia reported that Kim Soo Hyun will participate as normal in the filming of G-Dragon’s TV show “Good Day”, which was held on the same day. In particular, a close friend of the actor said, “Kim Soo Hyun and his agency have never been notified of their absent from the recording of ‘Good Day’, and he has never been asked by the production team to step down”.
The same person also stated, “I understand that ‘Good Day’ believes in Kim Soo Hyun and is waiting for him. Kim Soo Hyun is also keeping his promise because it was a schedule that was planned a long time ago”, before adding that the actor’s filming for Disney+’s “Knock-Off” will proceed continue as normal.
