Several Taiwanese media outlets, including major newspapers, reported on March 28th, 2022 that Koo Jun-yeop and Barbie Hsu had officially completed their marriage registration in Taiwan. However, since numerous reporters gathered around their house at that time, Koo Jun-yeop and Barbie Hsu were unable to register their marriage in person. Instead, they had their managers complete the marriage registration as representatives. Barbie Hsu’s side even confirmed, “Barbie Hsu and Koo Jun-yeop’s marriage registration process has just been completed today (March 28th)”.
In addition, Koo Jun-yeop once appeared on a broadcast of tvN’s entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block” in June 2022 and released a photo taken with Barbie Hsu, saying “It was taken on the day we registered our marriage in Taiwan”.
Meanwhile, Barbie Hsu reportedly passed away on February 2nd due to acute pneumonia caused by the flu during her trip to Japan. The late actress reunited with Koo Jun-yeop in 2022 after divorcing Wang Xiaofei. The two used to date in the past but met again after 20 years.
