Han Ga-in Admits 99% Inherited Her Mother’s Personality: “I’m Negative About Everything… It’s Not a Diss”
On April 5, Han Ga-in uploaded a video titled “15-Year Resident of Sindang-dong, Han Ga-in Reveals Hidden Legendary Restaurant (It’s Really Delicious)” on her channel.
In the video, Han Ga-in mentioned that her personality is 99% similar to her mother’s, saying, “I have the same personality as my mom. Her personality is completely negative,” which made people laugh.
She also recalled a time when she mentioned holding a press conference for her wedding, to which her mother sarcastically responded, “Why would the reporters come if you’re getting married?” Han Ga-in had previously shared her family story on a variety show, revealing that her family environment wasn’t particularly warm or harmonious, which led to certain emotional gaps.
When the production team commented, “Why do people say such negative things about your mom?” Han Ga-in clarified, “My mom always wants to speak up whenever her face is shown. I’m the most dutiful daughter, and our way of showing affection seems hard for others to understand. It’s not a diss,” she explained regarding the misunderstandings surrounding her relationship with her mother.
Even her husband, Yeon Jung-hoon, once misunderstood that she had arguments with her mom. Han Ga-in added, “In fact, I’m closest to my mom. I’ve only shared the stories of fighting with my husband with her. She actually wants to appear the most on our channel, but she’s shy.”
Han Ga-in married actor Yeon Jung-hoon on April 26, 2005, at the age of 23, and they have a daughter and a son.
