Han Ga-in Meets Her Doppelgänger, Even Her Husband Recognizes the Resemblance
On November 27, a video titled “Meeting Kim Dong-jun, the Look-alike Everyone’s Been Waiting For (+ DNA Test)” was uploaded to Han Ga-in’s YouTube channel, “Han Ga-in is Free”.
The guest for the episode was Kim Dong-jun, a former member of the idol group ZE:A and actor, who is famous for resembling Han Ga-in.
Han Ga-in started the conversation by saying, “This is the meeting that many people have been waiting for. I’ve heard so much about it from people around me, and there have been so many comments on my videos.” She then laughed, adding, “I was actually a bit scared. They say meeting your doppelgänger can be dangerous.”
When Han Ga-in saw Kim Dong-jun, she said, “It’s so nice to meet you. You really look like me. It feels like looking into a mirror,” as she took a step back. She continued, “I’d believe it if we were siblings,” and the production team, stunned by their resemblance, couldn’t hide their surprise.
Noting that Kim Dong-jun felt familiar like a younger sibling, Han Ga-in jokingly said, “Now we’re siblings.”
Han Ga-in then called her husband, Yeon Jung-hoon, via video call and asked him what he thought of the two of them together. Yeon Jung-hoon replied, “Let me see… who’s who? Are you happy to find your lost sibling?” confirming the resemblance.
The two revealed they had previously taken a DNA test to see how closely their genes matched.
While reviewing the DNA test results, Han Ga-in remarked, “The chemistry is explosive. Our physical activity levels are spot on, hair loss is similar, and nicotine dependence is identical. We both have insomnia,” adding that their lutein levels were also similar, expressing amazement at their similarities.
