On December 5, a video titled “Han Ga-in Meets Doppelgänger Kim Dong-jun: The Aftermath (Hospitalization Vlog)” was uploaded to the YouTube channel “Free Wife Han Ga-in”.

In the video, the production team went to the hospital after hearing news of Han Ga-in’s hospitalization. Han Ga-in said, “I met Kim Dong-jun a while ago. You know the myth about doppelgängers—meeting one means death. I guess since we’re different genders, it just ended with me getting sick.

With a serious expression, she explained, “Strangely, after meeting Kim Dong-jun, I started feeling unwell that evening. I couldn’t stand at all or eat. It wasn’t a diagnosed condition. After completing one shoot, I just couldn’t go on and was hospitalized. It’s been three days now.”

Han Ga-in continued, “I crawled in when I first arrived. They just removed my IV. I’m much better now. The doctor found the cause, and I improved rapidly.

Recalling her critical state, she confessed, “I collapsed, clung to my husband and crawled into the hospital. The nurses had to bring me a wheelchair. I’ve been dealing with unexplained dizziness for a long time. At first, I thought it was the aftereffects of BPPV.”

Han Ga-in previously confessed to experiencing severe BPPV after giving birth to her second child, causing years of dizziness. She recently discovered that her symptoms were caused by orthostatic hypotension.

Han Ga-in explained that her persistent heart palpitations were related to this condition. The production team, reflecting on her struggles, joked “You were always saying you felt sick during shoots. You were like, ‘Should I film or not?’“, bringing a moment of lightheartedness.

Han Ga-in mentioned how BPPV had made her avoid alcohol but humorously added, “I think I can drink again now.”
