In the latest episode of her YouTube show “Liberal Wife Han Ga-in“, the actress reunited with fellow celebrity Kim Dong-jun, who previously went viral for his striking resemblance to her. The episode, cheekily titled “Can Han Ga-in and Her Lookalike Kim Dong-jun Unlock Each Other’s Phones with Face ID?”, offered both laughs and heartfelt moments.
Introducing the episode, Han Ga-in joked, “My little brother is on leave from the army, so I came out to buy him lunch and drinks,” referring to Kim Dong-jun. The two had first sparked attention last year for their uncanny similar features.

During their chat, the conversation turned to her 6-year-old son, Je-woo, and his hair, specifically, his lifelong military-style buzz cut. When asked how she felt about his eventual military service, Han sighed and admitted it’s already a concern, despite her son being just a child.
A friend on set added with a laugh, “Je-woo will be fine. He’s had a military-style buzz cut his whole life.” Han confirmed, saying, “Yes, he always has a buzz cut. I shave it all off. I really don’t like students trying to dress up before college. I’m the ultimate old-school mom.”

The actress emphasized her traditional values by sharing how particular she is about appearances. “I never let a single strand of hair fall out of place either,” she said. Kim Dong-jun, relating to her strict grooming standards, chimed in with his own school memories of short hair.
Han then recounted a recent moment with her son: “He already hates that his bangs are short. He asks me, ‘Mom, when will my hair grow back?’ So I tell him, ‘You can pull off this haircut because you’re handsome—it’s fine.’ But I can already tell he’s going to start resisting soon.”

Trying to reassure her, Kim joked, “Just wait—his friends will start copying his style.” Han responded with a smile, “Then Je-woo better be good at sports. The reason kids thought you were cool back then was because you were athletic.”
Han Ga-in, who married fellow actor Yeon Jung-hoon in 2005, is now a proud mother of two. The couple welcomed their daughter in 2016 and their son Je-woo in 2019. Her reflections on motherhood continue to resonate with fans, striking a balance between humor, honesty, and heartfelt moments that show her devotion to raising grounded children, even if that means sticking to buzz cuts.
