Lee Mi-joo Exits “Hangout with Yoo” with Park Jin-joo: “I’ll Have Four Kids and Return”
In the May 31, 2025, episode of MBC’s Hangout with Yoo (ep. 282), cast members Lee Mi-joo and Park Jin Joo wrapped up their final mission, marking their official departure from the beloved variety show. The episode was packed with laughter, heartfelt moments, and a memorable exchange that left everyone in stitches.
The episode saw Haha struggling in the sweltering heat due to his heavy clothing. When Yoo Jae-suk teased him, asking, “Don’t you check the weather? How could you not know it would be hot?”
Haha snapped back, “Don’t talk to me about the weather. I have three kids!” Not missing a beat, Yoo Jae-suk called Haha a “kid” himself, sparking a playful argument. Haha retorted, “How many kids do you have?” When Yoo replied, “Two,” Haha proudly declared, “I have three!”
Frustrated by their bickering, Lee Yi-kyung sighed, but the mood shifted when Lee Mi-joo dropped a bombshell: “Then I’ll have four kids. I’ll have four and come back!” Her unexpected comment left the cast stunned.
Lee Yi-kyung and Joo Woo-jae couldn’t believe it, exclaiming, “You’re coming back after giving birth? Never seen anyone announce their comeback like this!” and “So you’re leaving to have kids?” Yoo Jae-suk, laughing, chimed in, “If you do that, you’ll be number one!”
The episode marked the end of Lee Mi-joo and Park Jin-joo’s journey on the show, following their final recording on May 22. The production team confirmed that after discussions earlier this year, both decided to step down.
Moving forward, Hangout with Yoo will continue with its core four-member lineup: Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Joo Woo-jae, and Lee Yi-kyung.
