Hearts2Hearts’ A-na Joins “Music Core” as New MC Alongside ZEROBASEONE’s Gyuvin & TWS’s Dohoon

According to Sports Chosun, A-na has been selected as the new MC for MBC’s music program “Show! Music Core”. She will be hosting alongside ZEROBASEONE’s Kim Gyuvin and TWS’s Dohoon.

The trio will take over from the current MC lineup—NMIXX’s Sullyoon, THE BOYZ’s Younghoon and actor Lee Jung-ha—beginning March 1, showcasing fresh “5th-gen idol MC chemistry”.

What’s particularly remarkable is that A-na will take on a major broadcasting MC role immediately upon her debut. She will officially debut as an idol on February 24, and just five days later, she will secure a fixed MC position. It is rare for a K-pop girl group idol to not only make her debut stage on “Show! Music Core” but also be introduced as a new MC on the same day, drawing significant attention.
Hearts2Hearts is highly anticipated as the first girl group from SM Entertainment since aespa. First introduced via VCR at SM’s 30th Anniversary Concert “SMTOWN”, the group has been generating global excitement with their pre-debut promotional content.

Recognizing both the demand from global K-pop fans and the youthful, trendy nature of “Show! Music Core”, the production team had been closely monitoring Hearts2Hearts’ members. Among them, 2008-born visual member A-na stood out for her talent, leading to her selection as the next MC.

Additionally, ZEROBASEONE’s Kim Gyuvin, who previously served as a special MC on “Show! Music Core” five times, and TWS’s Dohoon, who hosted twice as a special MC and also served as an MC for the “2024 MBC Gayo Daejejeon”, have already proven their hosting skills.
With this young and dynamic trio taking the helm, all eyes are on how their “5th-gen idol MC chemistry” will unfold and what changes “Show! Music Core” will experience with its youngest MC lineup in history.
