Ryu Jun-yeol and Hyeri are drawing attention as they put an end to their 7-year relationship, with past statements gaining focus
According to their respective agencies on Nov 13th, Ryu Jun-yeol (37) and Hyeri (29) decided to end their 7-year relationship and remain as colleagues who support each other after much consideration.
The two, who became a representative couple in the entertainment industry through the popular drama “Reply 1988”, had been in a sweet relationship for about 7 years. Therefore, their breakup caused disappointment to many people.
In this context, Hyeri’s appearance on KBS2’s “1 Night 2 Days Season 4” (2021), where she opened up about her concerns and shed tears, is being re-examined.
On the show, Hyeri said, “Even to people I like and close ones, it’s difficult to treat them kindly. It’s not that I don’t have feelings. I just don’t have the personality to treat them gently.”
Moon Se-yoon explained, “Hyeri gets goosebumps about such things.” Hyeri shed tears, confessing, “That’s right. I can’t do it. I thought even if I didn’t treat them kindly, they would understand my feelings, but they didn’t know well.”
At that time, netizens expressed concern that there might be a problem in Hyeri and Ryu Jun-yeol’s relationship, but later, Hyeri sent a coffee truck to the filming set for Ryu Jun-yeol and the two supported each other’s acting activities, dispelling breakup rumors.
Meanwhile, Hyeri chose the movie “Victory” as her next work, playing the role of high school student Pil-sun, who discovers cheerleading by chance. Ryu Jun-yeol’s movie “Alienoid Part 2” is scheduled to be released in January next year.
