Hyeri’s Intense Skinship with Jung Soo-bin While Bathing “Same-Sex Kiss Scene Isn’t Enough”

With its striking imagery and intriguing storyline, “Friendly Rivalry”, a drama produced by STUDIO X+U, is set to premiere at midnight on Feb 10th. Ahead of its release, the production team has unveiled new still cuts that offer a glimpse into the private life of Chaehwa Girls’ High School’s top student Yoo Je-yi (played by Lee Hyeri), drawing much attention.
The first still cut captures Yoo Je-yi preparing an injection. This scene takes place in Chaehwa Girls’ High School’s medical clubroom, which is equipped with professional medical equipment thanks to the full support of her father Yoo Tae-joon (played by Kim Tae-hoon), the director of J Medical Center. Aspiring to follow in her father’s footsteps as a doctor, Yoo Je-yi is determined to enter Korea University’s prestigious pre-med program. Not only does she excel academically, but she also rigorously practices clinical skills, building the perfect résumé.

The second still cut shows Yoo Je-yi undergoing daily blood tests at her father’s hospital to maintain optimal health for her studies. Her commitment to physical well-being as part of her academic pursuit underscores her ambition—not just to be the top student, but to become the epitome of perfection.
The next set of still cuts reveals an unexpected twist. With striking pink hair and a daring outfit, Yoo Je-yi is seen dancing in a club, exuding a bold and rebellious aura. This shocking contrast to her usual image as the school’s top student leaves a strong impression. Her provocative, dreamlike expression raises curiosity about the scene’s context.
One particularly attention-grabbing still cut shows Yoo Je-yi inviting transfer student Woo Seul-gi (played by Jung Soo-bin) to her home, where they share a bath. Yoo Je-yi’s hand gently caressing Woo Seul-gi’s face in the water creates a seductive tension, sparking speculation about why Yoo Je-yi invited Woo Seul-gi over and what emotions she harbors for her.

The production team stated, “Episodes 1~4 of ‘Friendly Rivalry’, set to premiere next week, will showcase the fierce academic rivalry among Chaehwa Girls’ High School students, as well as Yoo Je-yi’s growing connection with transfer student Woo Seul-gi. Please look forward to discovering the hidden depths of Yoo Je-yi and the evolving relationship between her and Woo Seul-gi.”
“Friendly Rivalry” is a mystery-thriller centered on the brutal entrance exam battles at Chaehwa Girls’ High School, where transfer student Seul-gi encounters classmates revealing their ambitions. The story also unfolds the mystery surrounding the suspicious death of Seul-gi’s father, a former college entrance exam organizer. The drama will air every Monday to Thursday at midnight on U+tv and U+MobileTV, starting Feb 10th.
