HyunA Reveals Intense Fitness Routine Ahead of Comeback: “I Walk for Six Hours a Day”

Singer HyunA has opened up about her intense fitness regimen and renewed motivation ahead of her much-anticipated comeback.
On May 7, HyunA appeared as a guest on MBC Radio FM4U’s “Noon’s Hope Song with Kim Shin-young,” where she candidly discussed her current lifestyle and personal goals. Known for her bold stage presence and charismatic performances, HyunA revealed that she’s been pouring her energy into physical training.

“I exercise with a trainer for an hour a day, and then I walk for about six more hours,” she said, emphasizing just how committed she is to staying active. “These days, there are so many great running shoes,” she added with a smile, hinting at her passion for staying on her feet. But not everything in her fitness journey comes easy. “Lower body workouts are really tough. I especially hate the squat machine—it makes me feel nauseous,” HyunA confessed, giving fans a glimpse of the gritty side of her routine.
When asked if she works out on an empty stomach, HyunA admitted, “These days, I’m trying to lose weight, so I try not to eat much and just focus on exercising.” Her dedication to her physique is part of her larger comeback strategy, as fans eagerly await her return to the music scene.

Beyond fitness, HyunA also spoke about her broader ambitions. “A few years ago, I held an art exhibition. I don’t think I could do it again. I have to make music, I want to hike, I want to run marathons—there’s just so much I want to do,” she shared. “I used to enjoy lounging around, but lately, I’m full of motivation.”
With her energy renewed and her goals set, HyunA’s latest update gives fans a closer look into the determination fueling her next chapter. As she gears up for her comeback, all eyes are on what she’ll bring to the stage next.
