“I Was Originally a TWICE Member” JYP ‘SIXTEEN’ Song Min-young Meets KwakTube in Japan

A video titled “Woke Up and Found Myself Back in School at 34 – Japan” was recently uploaded on KwakTube’s YouTube channel.
In the video, KwakTube began by saying, “I had a rare long vacation and was deciding where to go, so I chose Hokkaido.”
He continued, “There are a lot of language schools in Hokkaido. Since I’m going anyway, I thought it would be good to learn some Japanese, so I enrolled in a language school for a week. I also found a homestay, which allows me to live with a Japanese family and practice the language.”

Upon arriving at the language school in Hokkaido, KwakTube was introduced to other Korean students who had been attending before him.
Among them was Song Min-young, who surprised KwakTube, as she previously appeared on Mnet’s 2015 survival show “SIXTEEN”. The program was designed to form a JYP girl group, which ultimately became TWICE. Song Min-young gained much love at the time for her outstanding vocal skills.

Realizing this, KwakTube said to Song Min-young, “You were on ‘SIXTEEN’? How would I ever get the chance to meet a former JYP trainee? It’s an honor.”
When KwakTube mumbled to himself “Didn’t I watch ‘SIXTEEN’?”, Song Min-young jokingly responded, “It wasn’t fun. Don’t watch it.”
KwakTube asked “Would it hurt you if I watched it?”, to which Song Min-young replied, “Yes, it would.”
KwakTube also asked, “Were you a final member of TWICE?” In response, Song Min-young revealed “Actually, I was an original member. I was in my third year of high school at the time”, causing regret.
