On June 14, ILLIT’s agency, Belift Lab, announced through the fan community Weverse , “During a shoot this week, Wonhee injured her ankle and received medical treatment. She will need to wear a brace and minimize strenuous activity for the time being as per the doctor’s advice.”
Despite the injury, Wonhee will still participate in the Weverse Con stage. However, she will be seated and will not perform any choreography. Regarding this, Belift Lab stated, “Wonhee will participate in the 2024 Weverse Con Festival on June 15 but will be seated and not performing any dance moves. We ask for the fans’ understanding.”
The agency further added, “While the artist is very determined to attend all scheduled activities, we will prioritize her recovery based on medical advice and adjust her activities accordingly. We will do our best to ensure Wonhee can meet her fans in a healthy condition.”
Previously, Wonhee was unable to perform at the Hannam University festival last month due to health issues. This recent ankle injury comes less than a month later, causing further concern among fans.
