Singer Apologizes for Accidentally Revealing Kim Jong-min’s Bride’s Face at Private Wedding

Veteran singer Insooni has publicly apologized for unintentionally revealing the identity of Kim Jong-min’s bride at what was meant to be a private wedding.
On April 21, Insooni posted a heartfelt message on her social media account, writing, “It’s Monday, the start of a new week. A dear junior of mine had a wedding, which was meant to be private. I didn’t realize that, and because the couple looked so beautiful together, I ended up posting a photo.”

The incident occurred on April 20 at The Shilla Hotel’s Yeongbingwan in Seoul, where Kim Jong-min, a member of the popular co-ed group Koyote, married his non-celebrity partner, an entrepreneur 11 years his junior. Insooni’s post, though well-meaning, showed the bride’s face, previously not made public, leading to widespread online discussion.

Singer Insooni has apologized for accidentally revealing the face of Kim Jong-min’s non-celebrity wife after posting a photo from their private wedding. Though the couple graciously accepted her apology, Insooni expressed continued remorse, saying she should have been “more careful and respectful.”
The incident has highlighted the importance of privacy at celebrity events, particularly when one partner is not in the public eye. Notably, April 20 saw multiple celebrity weddings, including those of Ailee and Choi Si-hoon, Rainbow’s Noeul, and comedian Shim Hyun-seop.
